What Is Franchising?   

Franchising is a system. If you are accepted and purchase a franchise, the franchisor (main entity) will allow the franchisee (you) the ability to distribute products or services under the franchisor’s name. A franchisee is an individual or company that owns and operates a franchise for the sale of goods or services. A franchisor is the company that sells the right to sell products or services using their brand. A franchisee pays an initial franchise fee and ongoing royalties to use the franchisor’s brand or trade name along with their business system. Examples of franchises you may be familiar with are brands like Subway or McDonald’s. These units are individually owned and operated as franchisees.

Prior business experience in the wedding industry helps but is not a prerequisite.
